About Us

Inspire. The word inspire comes from the Latin word inspirare, which means to ‘breathe into'. The word as we understand it means to draw forth, to bring out. To make someone feel compelled to do something. To influence, move, or guide by divine or supernatural inspiration.

Shine. To bring about a quality of brightness. To emit light. To burn from within and provide a path through darkness. In other words, to be bright with emotion.

Like most everyone, I come from a place filled with memories of both light and darkness. The inspiration I drew from those experiences has shaped the human being I am today. I believe in the journey, not just the destination. And like so many other people's experience, the journey hasn't always been roses and bright summer mornings for me. I live by a creed. To always treat others with love and kindness. To love myself as I love others. To be present and mindful. And to help light the path for others on their journey.

That is Inspire to Shine. That is what I am, who we are, at our core. My mission is to encourage others to emit their light. Find their purpose. Heal their wounds through mindfulness, positivity, and self-love. Develop an attitude of gratitude.

There have been instances and circumstances in my life that have ultimately propelled me to create Inspire to Shine. The most important and by far the most rewarding being my daughter, Rowan. Looking at life through the eyes of a miracle reminds me, on a daily basis, that everything is about perspective. After a terrifying near-death experience in June of 2021, my journey and my purpose became abundantly clear. I knew I needed to heal from past traumas, release energies that no longer served me, and shift my perspective to practice mindfulness so that I could help others to do the same. In doing so, I discovered a creative side of myself that I never knew existed.

Inspire to Shine will introduce an ever-growing product line to promote healing, self-love, positive affirmations, wellness, intention setting, and more
